It is pretty odd and sad the way our priorities sometimes back-fire. A lot of parents I know will work from morning till night every day to provide the greatest future for their kids, yet by doing this they might be hurting their kids more than assisting them. She was very sad to see me go, and I knew that she would really miss that story. On a whim, I went to the neighborhood audio-book shop and found out that I was able to get a copy of it. At first, she was a tad nervous about listening to the children audio book. She explained to me that she wished to hear me reading it, not some tape-recorder. Nonetheless, when she sussed out that I wasn't going to stay it doesn't matter how much she begged and pleaded, she relented and decided to listen to the children audio books.
She actually truly enjoyed it. I like to believe that she still enjoys the way I read more than she enjoys kids books on cd, but I bet it is a close-call. The children audio book readers are excellent. My diction isn't bad, and I am a pretty dramatic reader, but these are true qualified performers. Your average run of the mill father just simply can't compete! They know precisely how to read kids books to make them thrilling and interactive, keeping your kids on the edge until the very last page. Although my little girl is still unhappy when I leave town, the children books on cd make my trip a tad bit easier on her. Both of us are quite pleased about that.
